Doctor juris Stefano Grace is a Senior Associate from the United States who joined the Tallinn office of Sorainen in 2006. Stefano holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law. Prior to joining Sorainen, he worked in the financial sector working in the legal department of the Tallinn Stock Exchange during the summers of 2004 and 2005 and worked for four years for Pattishall, McAuliffe, Newbury, Hilliard & Geraldson, a leading intellectual property law firm in the United States. He also completed a four-month legal externship at the White House in Washington, D.C. Stefano is admitted to the New York Bar Association and is a member of the American Bar Association. Olivier has been many years with American leading global hotel company Carlson Hotels Worldwide, headquarted in Minneapolis, USA. He has held various positions with the group in the United States, Canada, Russia, Ireland and China prior to moving to Estonia in February 2009. Olivier brings to AmCham a broad range of international experience from his professional background, but also from serving previously as director on the Boards of other overseas chambers of commerce/business associations. He studied at the Université du Québec à Montréal, Canada, and the Université de Toulouse II, France, graduating in Business Administration and Hotel Management. Olivier’s ambitions for AmCham Estonia is to consult and elaborate with Estonian businesses and government entities a push for the development and engineering of arguments, products, services and facilities that are necessary to ensure the growth and sustainability of business and leisure travel as one of the most important employer and contributor to the economy.

Professional Experience: Aivar has extensive experience in providing auditing, tax and business consultancy services, and due diligence services both to multinational and domestic companies in Estonia. While working at A.Kangust & Partnerid and PricewaterhouseCoopers, Aivar has audited companies in various fields, including but not limited to the Estonian Central Bank, Fortum, merger between Estonian two largest banks - Hoiupank and Hansapank, the Estonian Stock Exchange and Elisa, a telecom company etc. Aivar has written numerous articles, mainly on audit and financial management topics.

She holds a MA in Government from Indiana University (Russian and East European Institute), in Bloomington, Indiana and a BA in History from the University of Connecticut, Storrs, Connecticut. Before moving to Estonia in 1997 to volunteer in the development of a civil society, she worked in education, operated a small business, and held public office. In Estonia, she has been active in non-governmental organizations. She is a charter member of Tallinn International Rotary Club, serving as its President 2007-2008, and a Paul Harris Fellow. At the Estonian Women’s Studies and Resource Centre she is a member of the Board. She is one of the editors - and a translator – of the book “Carrying Linda’s Stones. An Anthology of Estonian Women’s Life Stories”, which was published by Tallinn University Press in 2006 and a reprint appeared in 2007. Aivo was born in Tartu, South of Estonia. After finishing high school (Nõo Science School) he studied 3 years theology in Tartu University and after that taxation and finance in Tallinn School of Economics. During his studies he gained working experience from social work and banking sector (worked as youth worker, administrator, assistant, project manager). He has been actively related to various non-governmental organizations, in 2004 and 2005 was a Member of the Board in the Youth Centre “KOHT” in Tartu. Today he is working with well-known bank - Swedbank AS. His hobbies are hiking, cycling, history and different cultures. He would like to find new opportunities, be eagerly involved with different activities of AmCham and bring to the Chamber new ideas and encouragement as well.  Erki Kert Lõhmus, Haavel & Viisemann AS Member of management board / Head of Corporate Finance AmCham Board Director 2009-2010 Prior to joining LHV, Erki Kert graduated from the University of Tartu in finance and economics.During the years spent in LHV, he has built up an equity research department covering Baltic markets and is now managing the entire analyst team. Starting 2007, Erki is a member of LHV’s management board, responsible for corporate finance services in the Baltics.
Peter A. Woolsey Individual Member AmCham Board Director 2009-2010
Peter Woolsey first came to Estonia in 1996 as a member of a European Commission advisory team evaluating EU accession countries. He incorporated a software firm EBSA AS, Euro Baltic Software Alliance, in 1997 and EBSA OY in Finland in 2000. He has mentored SME firms in Estonia and recently assisted CellTells win first prize in the first, Enterprise Estonia ‘Brain Hunt’, competition. This September, EBSA UK Ltd enabled Now Innovations to successfully install their mobile payment system for Reading Borough Council in the UK. Last December, together with Mart Laar, Peter presented Estonia’s E-and M-government systems in Chile, South America. Peter studied Economics at Manchester University in the UK. He has an MBA from INSEAD. He also received a Rotary International Foundation Fellowship and studied at the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton Graduate School. He is a charter member of the Tallinn International Rotary Club and is the INSEAD representative in Estonia: he has been resident in Estonia since 2000. Peter’s hobby is water skiing, even on the Baltic Sea. He would like to see Amcham assist Estonian firms export to North America, especially the USA and to outsource to US firms in Western Europe.
