The Social Responsibility Committee of AmCham was established in 2004 and during its relatively short life it has contributed to the development of Estonia’s society principally by supporting children and young people. Initially, the group, which has averaged three members, was named the Charity Committee and it helped the Mustamäe Orphanage financially. As support from a variety of sources to the orphanage increased, the committee changed its focus in 2006 – and also, its name to the Social Responsibility Committee. It was decided to give scholarships to students pursuing higher education and who are from financially limited circumstances. | Committee Members | | Ilvi Jõe-Cannon -Committee Chairperson | | | | Mihhail Dudin (Project Manager) AmCham Estonia |
