SA Tallinna Lastehaigla (Tallinn Children’s Hospital) is a leading medical center in Estonia, which brings together sectoral competence centers and offers treatment to children in nearly 30 specialties. The children’s hospital offers broad-based and family-oriented specialist care and actively cooperates with international study and research centers. Up to 150,000 children and young people under the age of 18 receive help from the children’s hospital annually.
Tallinn Children’s Hospital includes five clinics with internationally recognized competence centers in hematology-oncology, surgery, newborns and infants, children’s mental health and other specialties. We are the only hospital in Estonia that provides comprehensive pediatric specialist care. By participating in international cooperation with learning and research centers, we ensure the continuity of knowledge and experience and provide the best evidence-based and family-oriented medical care that respects children’s rights by creating a partnership with the child’s family.
Tallinn Children’s Hospital employs 800 employees, nearly 200 doctors, an average of half a hundred to a hundred residents, more than 300 nurses and 120 care assistants work here. The hospital has 150 beds.
