Tartu Academy of Theology is a non-profit organization founded in 1992. Its core mission is to ensure the sustainability of theological education, advance pastoral counseling services, and promote Christian values within Estonian society. Tartu Academy of Theology owns and operates Pastoraat, an interdenominational Christian center located in Tartu.
Over the decades, Tartu Academy of Theology has built a strong network of partner churches, including approximately one hundred congregations from various Lutheran denominations across the United States. As a non-profit organization, donor engagement and philanthropic support are integral to our operational model. Our extensive experience with American giving culture provides a deep understanding of how generosity is embedded in both American society and business practices. We believe there are valuable opportunities to share insights and foster mutual understanding and cooperation.
