On Wednesday morning, December 6, AmCham members gathered for the interactive morning seminar devoted to the changes to the Estonian Tax System that will come into force starting 2018.
Did you know that from January 1st, 2018, the Estonian tax system will undergo a major overhaul? Corporate tax rate will depend on the dividend amount, personal tax becomes progressive, intra-group loans and option plans will be treated differently, fringe benefit taxation will change, and a new micro-business regime will be adopted – all these topics were covered by our brilliant speakers – Elvira Tulvik (Magnusson Law firm) and Karli Kutt (Cobalt Law Firm). The presentations were followed with an active Q&A discussion, during which everyone got a chance to have their question answered.
We would like to thank all the participants for joining us for this thought-provoking informative session and also MyChef for sponsoring the delicious snacks! Also, we would like to thank our dear board member Elvira Tulvik and Magnusson Law Firm for being such a wonderful host!
