On September 28, AmCham Charter Gold members alongside other guests were invited to the U.S. Ambassador’s residence to enjoy the U.S. food and beverage tasting – a special event connected with the visit to Estonia of the Agricultural Attache Russ Nicely.
At the event our Charter Gold members had an opportunity to meet the representatives from the US Meat Export Federation and Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute, among others and taste sample dishes prepared using American products. The menu included Alaskan sockeye salmon and black cod, scallops, American beef, almonds, nuts, cranberries, prunes and more. American wines and bourbon were also served to accompany the delicious Alaskan food selection.
While tasting the delicious American food products, it was important to remember, that American food is very diverse ranging from the world known fast-food chains to some of the most exquisite high-end seafood and meat dishes, wines and more. That is why it is important to keep working on deepening our trade relations in order to be able to share the richnesses of our cuisines across the Atlantic.
We would like to thank everyone for their participation and of course we would like to thank the U.S. Embassy for giving our CG members this unique opportunity and hosting this amazing reception!
