AmCham AGM & Talent Forum 2017

April 20, 2017 | ‒

On April 20, AmCham members gathered for the Annual General Meeting 2017 at the one of the most innovative and creative venues in town – The Club of Different Rooms in Telliskivi.

This year our AGM consisted of two parts – during the first hour we shared the recap of the year 2016 with facts & figures, financials, advocacy & policy reports by committee chairs and representatives. After having  voted and approved the Annual Report 2016, we introduced our plans for 2017, including new members recently joined the Chamber – Hansa Medical, Orangetime, J&J Family of companies, Ambassadors of Design and the newest Charter Gold member Archibus – we are delighted to welcome you on board! To conclude the program of the first hour was one of the most important parts of the meeting – the election of the AmCham Board for the 2017-2019 term. Each member had a chance to cast their vote and based on their votes, the re-elected Board members are:

  • Mihail Burõhh (Meriton Family Estate)
  • Indrek Laul (Estonia Piano Factory)
  • Kathleen Naglee (International School of Estonia)

They will serve the Board together with Andrus Alber (Finora Capital), Carl Pucci (Datel/Ovela LLC), Elvira Tulvik (Magnusson Law Firm) , Kai Tammist (Philip Morris Eesti), Niels Hollender (Pan-Baltic Trading Group), Wade Stokes (TransferWise), who are already serving for the 2016-2018 term.

A special recognition and huge thank you goes to AmCham Premium Partners 2017 – AVIS, Coca-Cola Baltic States, Microsoft, Raytheon, Google and Datel/Ovela LLC. We truly thank you for being with us and supporting us!

We also thank all the members who came out and contributed to AmCham success by casting their votes! Your votes are very important to us!A special Thank You to our meeting secretary – Kätlin Robas, Law Firm Sorainen!

For the second half of the event we had an extremely interesting thought-provoking session with Zane Culkstena (CEO of Erda) and Heigo Kaldra (Manpower) addressing the burning topics on how to attract and retain talents in the rapidly changing age of digitization and skills revolution. You can find the presentations by our speakers following the links below:
