On September 7, over 120 members of AmCham Estonia and business leaders from the Finnish, Swedish , Danish and German Chambers of Commerce gathered at Radisson Blu Hotel Olümpia for the 13th Annual Meeting with the Prime Minister of Estonia. We were very glad to also welcome the new Chargé d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy, Clifford Bond, at his first official AmCham Estonia event!
During his speech, Prime Minister Ratas gave an overview of the economic situation of the country and emphasized the importance of the Transatlantic trade especially nowadays, when the overall trade situation in Europe is often exposed to sudden changes. Minister Ratas also sent an important message to the foreign investors by saying that Estonia is just the right platform to adopt and implement technological and innovative business models.
We would like to thank all the participants for coming out and also initiating an active discussion with the Prime Minister! A huge thank you to AmCham Finland for coming with their delegation to Estonia for our first event of the fall season! We would also like to thank Finnish,Swedish, Danish and German Chambers for joining us for the meeting!
And the biggest and sincerest gratitude goes to our amazing Premium Partners – Raytheon and Microsoft! Thank you for making this possible!
