On October 27, AmCham Estonia Healthcare Committee had a virtual round-table discussion with the representatives of the public sector that included the Estonian Health Insurance Fund, represented by Rain Laane, Estonian Ministry of Social Affairs, represented by Kristiina Hunt, as well as TEHIK (Tervise ja Heaolu Infosüsteemide Keskus) represented by Katrin Reinhold. The business side was represented by Cobalt Law Office (Elo Tamm), Amgen (Kalle Uibo), Medtronic (Edgars Labsvirs) and Nortal (Marti Rillo).
The discussion focused on innovation in healthcare and practical solutions and steps taken by the public sector to ensure the growth of the high-quality, patient-centric, and value-based healthcare model in Estonia, and was moderated by the Chair of the Amcham Healthcare Committee Elo Tamm.
The healthcare system nowadays is definitely in process of moving towards a data-driven, patient-centric approach. We look forward to continuing our open dialogue and discussion with the decision-makers and stakeholders!
We would like to thank our speakers, panelists, and participants for joining the event! And a special thank you goes to Cobalt Law Office, and their team, for hosting the online webinar!
