AmCham’s Annual St. Patrick’s Day Mixer, held at Kennedy’s Bar & Kitchen in the Old Town on Thursday, March 14th, was an evening filled with Irish charm, lively entertainment, and community spirit. The event, which ran from 17:00 to 19:00, brought together members and guests for a celebration to remember.
The festivities kicked off with a warm welcome from the AmCham President, Megan Riley and AmCham CEO Daria Sivovol, setting the stage for an evening of cultural exchange and camaraderie. The highlight of the event was the presence of distinguished guests, including the Irish Ambassador to Estonia, James Sherry, and the U.S. Ambassador to Estonia, George P. Kent, while the US Ambassador delighted guests with stories of how the holiday is celebrated across the Atlantic, punctuated by an interactive Irish-themed quiz that kept everyone entertained. Their special remarks provided insights into the significance of St. Patrick’s Day and its global resonance, offering guests a deeper appreciation for the holiday.
The ambiance was further enhanced by the melodious tunes of an Irish live band, Tonnta Ceoil, whose spirited performance had guests tapping their feet. The traditional Irish dance performance added an authentic touch to the festivities.
A heartfelt moment unfolded as CEO Leo O’Neill of Irish HML Project Management presented special gifts—a cherished brooch and living Irish shamrock flowers—to the ambassadors and AmCham CEO, Daria Sivovol, symbolizing the enduring bonds of friendship and partnership.
The evening culminated with an exciting raffle, adding an element of anticipation and excitement to the event.
