On May 29th, we had the opportunity to visit our Charter Gold member Avis/Ideal Baltic. This family business, founded by Urmas Isok in 1991, has a rich history. Urmas was also one of the co-founders of AmCham Estonia in 1997. During our visit, he gave a fascinating presentation about the company’s beginnings. He shared stories of how the first salary back then was just $10 and how many cars were stolen, highlighting the challenging journey they faced. In 1992, they opened their first airport office, marking a significant milestone.
We also heard from Hardi Isok, Managing Director, who spoke about the future, global mega trends in the mobility sector, and the present situation. Ideal Baltic comprises five companies: Ideal, Ideal Auto, Ideal Holidays, SIA Ideal Services, and UAB Litideal. Their vision is to expand mobility, and their mission is to make car use easy. Ideal Auto focuses on passenger car services, offering everything from bodywork to car washes and complete fleet management.
We were introduced to their new addition, Ideal Campers. They represent the LMC brand in Estonia and have a brand-new showroom full of motorhomes. Hardi Isok, the Managing Director, shared, “We believe that our future is not only about traveling, but it is also about the sustainability of our employees and their mobility. Our Ideal Auto brand operates under a huge 4000m2 premises, offering various corporate fleet services, including a workshop, car wash, tire changes, car sales, and more. And with our new baby onboard – Ideal Campers. We are a representative of the LMC brand in Estonia with a brand new showroom full of motorhomes.”
A huge thank you to the Avis Estonia team for a fantastic visit. And congratulations to the lucky winners of the event lottery.
