OSAC seminar on Risks and Shared Concerns Related to Chinese Technology Companies

The U.S. Embassy and Ministry of Interior invite you to attend a conference intended to increase awareness of the risks and shared concerns related to Chinese technology companies.  An interagency panel of security experts will discuss the operational and national security risks associated with Chinese technology firms.  U.S. briefings will include a case study of Nuctech, a Chinese supplier of security inspection products.  Subject matter experts will address questions that include:

  • What are the national security risks of working with companies like Nuctech?
  • How can governments independently evaluate the security risks associated with the use of Chinese technology products?
  • What can governments do to implement legislation and policy to protect against those risks?
