On September 24-27, 𝟱𝟲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟯𝟭 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 gathered in Lisbon, Portugal to share Best Practices and ideas among colleagues by discussing challenges, sharing experiences, learning, and debating to ensure the highest possible standards of their operations. The main highlights of the ACE BPSC 2024 included the Creative Network Awards, presentation of the results of the annual Benchmark Survey and partaking in the AmCham Portugal Transatlantic Business Summit to gain insights on innovation, green and digital transitions, trade and investment, supply chains, energy and reconfiguration of global economy.
Additionally, participants got to hear fro Antonio Martins da Costa, President, Câmara de Comércio Americana – AmCham Portugal, about the EDP Group and Portugal’s ambitious energy transition goals.
One of the conference sessions featured engaging breakout discussions focused on the ACE strategy, introduced by ACE Chair Ajša Vodnik. Attendees explored AmChams’ key pillars of work: networking and best practice sharing, advocacy, and member empowerment. The breakout groups delved into topics like organizational performance, member engagement, networking strategies, and communication challenges. These sessions were expertly facilitated by ACE strategy team members Daria Sivovol, Peter Dahlen, Aida Casamitjana, Susan Danger, Daniel Andrich, Marc ter Haar, Elias Spirtounias, Mila Malairau, and Marko Mirocevic.
