Silen, a leading office pod company, opened a showroom in Chicago, where the Estonian company will participate in the international trade exhibition NeoCon. Silen is the first Estonian furnishing company with its own showroom in North America.

The showroom is located on the tenth floor of the Merchandise Mart (THE MART), built in the 1930s, and covers a space of ​​250 square meters. Brands such as Andreu World, Bosch, Gaggenau, Miele, Poggenpohl, etc., as well as the world’s largest office furniture manufacturer Steelcase have their showrooms in the same building.

North America’s largest furnishing exhibition NeoCon 2024, where Silen introduces new products, is held in Chicago on the 10th – 12th to June. The world premiere of Silen’s new product Bridges Mobile will take place at the exhibition. It is a space divider on wheels, the prototype of which is on display at NeoCon for the first time. At the exhibition, Silen will also introduce to the US market Bridges, a product family of space dividers already known in Europe, and Silen Chatbox’s newest quiet space Solo for individual use. At NeoCon, the company will also launch a new generation of Silen Space, its premium product family.

For the Space 1.5 solo office pod, Silen was decorated with the Business Impact award at the Best of NeoCon competition. In addition, Bridges product family of space dividers by Silen received the HiP Awards Honoree by the Interior Design magazine.

More than 400 companies from all over the world participate in the NeoCon 2024 exhibition, which presents innovative interior design solutions in residential buildings, offices, healthcare and educational institutions, hospitality and retail facilities and public buildings. More than 50,000 visitors are expected to NeoCon, a vast majority of them being architects-designers. It is essentially the largest and most influential business interior event in the world. Silen is the only Estonian company participating at NeoCon this year.

Silen, a company that designs and manufactures office pods for business customers, currently sells soundproof and noise-proof meeting and telephone rooms in 60 countries. Silen’s largest market is the USA, and the company is widely represented in Europe, Asia and elsewhere. In 2023, Silen was awarded the title of the Exporter of the Year in Estonia. At the end of the first quarter of 2024, 56 people worked in the company.

Silen’s customers include several large global companies that use meeting pods in their offices and production units. Silen works with many Fortune 500 companies such as Amazon, Coca-Cola, Dell, Lego, Siemens and others. Silen OÜ was founded in 2018 by Endrus Arge, Sparry Kivilo and Henri Rüüsak.
