On May 31, over 250 AmCham members, partners, invited guests and Latitude59 VIP guests and speakers gathered at Seaplane Harbor Museum for our biggest festive fundraising event of the year – AmCham Annual Spring Gala in honor of Transatlantic Cooperation with very special Guests of Honor – Marina Kaljurand, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Hon. Jim Melville, the U.S. Ambassador to Estonia.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs gave an overview of Transatlantic Cooperation, successes and highlighted the fact that there is definitely room for improvement.
Also, Ambassador Melville, Indrek Laul and Daria Sivovol, presented the six finalist projects of Melissa Wells Coporate Citizenship Award. This year`s finalists were: Estonian Cell AS, Eastman Specialities OÜ, Microsoft Estonia OÜ, Molycorp Silmet AS, TransferWise Ltd and Philip Morris Eesti OÜ with 2 projects! The winner of Melissa Wells Award 2016 was Molycorp Silmet AS and 1st runner-up was Microsoft Eesti OÜ!
The evening program also featured a lively Charity Auction with 4 very special items and packages!We are delighted to announce that the auction raised 4635 Euros for the AmCham Charity Fund!!
While our guests enjoyed dessert and coffee, Villu Veski gave an outstanding performance. Towards the end of the evening, everyone was invited to join the after party at the Red Hall in Telliskivi.
