On April 18, AmCham members joined the online meeting and briefing with Andreas Kaju from META Advisory and moderated by Nele Normak, Chair of AmCham Public Policy Committee (Coca-Cola Baltics).
Andreas started with the brief overview of the main points of the new coalition agreement that AmCham members could find interesting and important for their business:
- National Security topic and related obligations
- Taxation changes
- Energy strategy & vision
- Education Financing
- etc
The briefing was followed by the Q&A with the meeting participants who had a chance to raise their concerns and topics (increase of VAT for the hospitality industry, engaging private capital in education and healthcare sphere, new IT infrastructure obligations and others)
AmCham Public Policy Committee Leadership will be drafting a letter to the new government and is calling for feedback from all members on issues to be included in the letter.
