APR 17: BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES IN THE USA WEBINAR

On April 17th, AmCham Estonia co-hosted a webinar with CASE (Council of American States in Europe). It was an honor to have esteemed speakers share their expertise and insights with us, making it an enriching experience for all attendees.

Opening remarks were delivered by distinguished personalities:

The agenda was packed with valuable sessions covering various industries and opportunities in the United States:

  • Luigi Mercuri, VP of CASE, kickstarted the event with an introduction on “Getting Started in the United States.”
  • Ellen Kraft, Managing Director of the State of Georgia European Office, Georgia Department of Economic Development, delved into the digitalization and technology ecosystem.
  • Sergio Domingues, Managing Director of the State of South Carolina Europe Office, S.C. Department of Commerce, highlighted South Carolina’s prominent role in the agribusiness sector.
  • Luigi Mercuri, Managing Director of the State of North Carolina European Office, The Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina, shed light on North Carolina’s diverse sectors, focusing on smart textiles and healthcare technologies.
  • Stefan Peikert, Director Europe, Wisconsin Economic Development Corp., provided an overview of Wisconsin’s economy, emphasizing its strengths in advanced manufacturing, biotech, and water technology industries.
  • Reene Mochella from the U.S. Embassy Tallinn discussed the Select USA Summit and How to Apply, offering valuable insights into opportunities for foreign investment.

 

The event also facilitated engaging discussions through virtual breakout rooms representing different American states, allowing participants to delve deeper into specific investment opportunities and network with industry experts.
