AUG 22: AmCham Chili Cook-Off 2024

August 22, 2024 | 16:00 ‒ 18:00

Tallinna Teeninduskool (Teko) and Arrow Electronics Crowned the BEST CHILIS 2024!

Despite the rainy weather that swept through our town yesterday evening, our Annual Chili Cookoff 2024 was a resounding success! The event brought together five talented teams, each vying for the prestigious title of Best Chili 2024. The aroma of spices and the warmth of community spirit filled the air, making the event a cozy and memorable experience for all who attended.

The event kicked off with opening remarks from several distinguished guests. AmCham CEO Daria Sivovol welcomed the attendees with an inspiring speech, followed by U.S. Ambassador George P. Kent and the head of the chili jury, John C. Sullivan, who also addressed the crowd, setting the stage for the exciting competition ahead.

Each team brought their A-game, presenting unique flavors and secret recipes that dazzled both the crowd and our expert jury. Both the expert jury and the audience had a tough time choosing their favorites, but in the end, two teams rose above the rest:

  1. BEST CHILI 2024: TEKO Chili by Tallinna Teeninduskool – With their smoky, robust chili, they took home the top prize. Their perfect blend of heat and flavor left a lasting impression on the judges and secured their place as the Best Chili 2024.
  2. PEOPLE’S CHOICE: SPICY ARROW – The team from Arrow Electronics wowed everyone once again with their unique chili that featured a rich blend of spices and a secret ingredient that had everyone guessing.

Our heartfelt congratulations go out to these winning teams for their outstanding performances. Their dedication and culinary skills truly shone, making this year’s cookoff one of the best yet.

We also want to thank all the participating teams:
