Last Thursday, March 9, AmCham Charter Gold and Board Members gathered at the U.S. Ambassador’s Residence for a special “Meet & Greet” reception co-hosted by the new U.S. Ambassador to Estonia George P. Kent. During the meeting, Ambassador Kent introduced himself to the AmCham top tier members, mentioned his previous assignments, as well as his vision and plans for the upcoming years in Estonia.
During the reception, AmCham Estonia President Indrek Laul has officially extended our invitation to Ambassador Kent to serve as the Honorary President of AmCham Estonia – a long standing tradition for the chamber. Ambassador Kent has kindly accepted the invitation.
We also had a chance to introduce all Charter Gold members attending the event and award them with their Charter Gold membership certificates.
“We are thrilled to have a U.S. Ambassador after a 4,5 year break“, says Daria Sivovol, AmCham CEO. “We truly look forward to our closer cooperation with the Ambassador and his team, regular dialogue, meetings and working together with the AmCham members in the name of a better business climate!”
We would like to sincerely thank Ambassador Kent and the embassy team for this wonderful opportunity and for the great cooperation!
