JAN 27: US Market Day at the Estonian MFA

January 27, 2026 | 09:00 ‒ 14:00

On January 27, the U.S. Market Day seminar at the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs / Välisministeerium brought together entrepreneurs, diplomats, and international experts to discuss what it really takes to succeed in the U.S. market.
The message from the opening remarks was clear: despite a changing global environment, the U.S. remains a key and growing trade partner for Estonia – with over 1,000 Estonian companies exporting nearly €1.7B annually.
As highlighted by our ambassadors (U.S. Ambassador Roman Pipko and Estonian Ambassador to the USA Kristjan Prikk) and panelists, opportunities continue to exist, especially for higher-value products and services. But success requires more than a good product. Presence, commitment, and trust matter.
During the entrepreneurs’ panel moderated by our CEO Daria Sivovol with Allan Bernard from Nortal, Andreas Tiik from ÖÖD, and Ando Konrad from Roofit Solar Energy, one theme stood out: you need to be on the ground, active, and part of the conversations where decisions are made. Building trust, understanding the market, and adapting to how customers think – especially in the U.S. – makes all the difference.
Thank you to all speakers, partners, and organizers for a thoughtful and practical discussion, and to Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs / Välisministeerium, EIS | Enterprise Estonia and the Estonian Embassy in Washington for making this event possible
The U.S. market still offers significant room to grow – for those ready to commit.
