On June 11, the Pamela Luise Dream Lifter Prize returned for its second year, celebrating everyday heroes whose spirit elevates those around them. At a heartfelt ceremony in Swissôtel Tallinn, Kaie Kensap—volunteer, caregiver, and community rock—was honored by Carl Pucci, CEO of EO59 and son of the award’s namesake, Pamela Luise Picard.
Kaie’s lifetime of service spans over three decades: raising three children and leading her local Women’s Defense Service district for twelve years, supporting Home Daughters, Young Eagles, and the Defence League. She extended comfort to troops during exercises, volunteered on weekends, and dedicated herself to the elderly as a caregiver in Kuusiku’s retirement home. As a pastoral counsellor and the first female board chair at Rapla’s Lutheran Church, she also provided spiritual guidance.
During Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Kaie made two humanitarian trips to the Ukraine–Poland border, facilitating refugee passage into Estonia. Her nomination—as a quiet but powerful force—highlighted her impact on both local and global communities.
At the ceremony, Kaie received a symbolic blue butterfly trophy, a cash prize, a spa weekend at Swissôtel, and development training. Overwhelmed with emotion, she shared, “This award… confirms I’m on the right path. That striving to inspire, support, and uplift others—even when you’re tired or full of doubt yourself—matters.”
Her acceptance underscored her renewed mission: to continue lifting others, fostering dreams, and—perhaps—changing the world, one act of kindness at a time.
