The AmCham Annual Board Retreat and Strategy Meeting 2026 was a memorable and highly productive day in Rapla, bringing together the AmCham Estonia Board for a mix of local outreach, networking, learning and strategic thinking.
A special thank-you goes to Carl Pucci and EO59 for hosting and powering the day. Their support helped create an excellent setting for the Board to step away from the usual routine, connect with the Rapla community and focus on AmCham’s priorities for the years ahead.
The day started with an especially memorable experience: flying by helicopter and getting a bird’s-eye view of Rapla— a truly special touch provided by Carl! 🚁 It was an unforgettable way to begin the retreat and see the region from a completely different perspective.
The program then continued with a visit to the Rapla sign and a three-course lunch at Hollivuud. At Rapla Riigimaja, we had the opportunity to learn more about the county and its business environment, with presentations from Reelika Vaabel of RAEK, Evali Mülts of HellermannTyton OÜ, and a representative of Rapla Municipality — Doris-Lisett Rudnevs and Kerstin Laasma. A tour of Rapla Riigimaja and a visit to the Rapla Music School added further insight into the region and its community.
The day culminated in the AmCham Strategy Meeting, where the Board had the opportunity to step back and think strategically about AmCham’s future. Two important topics were at the heart of the discussion: AmCham fundraising and charity activities in 2026 and beyond, and the 30th Anniversary Celebration plans for 2027. The brainstorming generated ideas and perspectives that will help shape both our community impact and the next chapter of AmCham’s story in Estonia.
Beyond the formal program, the retreat was also about strengthening relationships, exchanging ideas and building momentum as a Board. Getting outside Tallinn and engaging directly with the Rapla community made the experience particularly valuable.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the day, and especially to Carl Pucci and EO59 for making it possible. It was a great reminder that strong organisations are built not only around strategy, but also around people, partnerships and a shared willingness to contribute.
