On February 8, AmCham members and invited VIP guests came together at the spectacular Hilton Tallinn Park hotel to participate in one of the premier events of this spring season – Political Pre-Election Debate organized by AmCham Estonia in cooperation with our great member Meta Advisory.
Our panel featured Olev Andres Tinn from the Green Party, Martin Helme from EKRE, Raimond Kaljulaid from Center Party, Kadri Tali from Estonia200, Taavi Rõivas from Reform Party, Marina Kaljurand from Social Democratic Party, Riinu Lepa from the Biodiversity Party, Mart Luik from Pro Patria and finally Neeme Kuningas from Free Party. The debate was moderated by Andreas Kaju, the Partner at Meta Advisory.
Since our panel was quite big and diverse, we decided to take a little different approach. Our panelists got to give their opinion on 4 different topics carefully selected by our working committees. They got to speak up on the talent and workforce, R&D and investment climate in Estonia, business-related taxation as well as democracy & governance in Estonia. At the end of the discussion, we were also able to pull out a few questions from the Slido app that was used throughout the event.
