The Executive Committee of the AmCham Board met with Nate Morris, a US green technology entrepreneur, innovator, and investor

On Thursday, May 25th the Executive Committee of the AmCham board met with Nate Morris and had a chance to talk about waste management and recycling, 
AmCham topics and priorities and possible collaboration with Nate Morris also introduced Morris Industries and their strategy for investing in high-growth potential impact companies.
Nate Morris is the Chairman and CEO of Morris Industries and the Founder of Rubicon Technologies, Inc (NYSE:RBT)
Morris founded Rubicon, one of America’s largest waste and recycling companies with operations spanning all 50 U.S. states and 20 countries. Under his leadership, Morris grew the company from only a $10,000 line of credit to a successful $2-billion-dollar transaction to bring Rubicon public on the New York Stock exchange (NYSE).
Morris Industries is a privately held conglomerate headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky that is reimagining the industrial economy while using the power of business to solve some of America’s biggest challenges, such as the environment and national security.
Morris has been named to Fortune Magazine’s 40 Under 40 list and is a regional winner of EY’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award. He is also the youngest inductee ever to the Kentucky Entrepreneur Hall of Fame. In addition, he is the founder of the Morris Foundation, which aims to provide access to the American Dream for all Kentuckians.
