AmCham Estonia’s Thanksgiving Charity Dinner Raised 11,500 Euros in Support of the Warmth of Heart Foundation

On Friday, November 28, AmCham held its 16th Annual Thanksgiving Dinner on Friday, November 28, in the banquet hall of the Radisson Blu Hotel Olümpia. The event is one of the organization’s most cherished traditions, bringing together all members and partners to celebrate Thanksgiving and contribute to charity.

The evening opened with welcome remarks from AmCham Estonia President Dr. Indrek Laul. This was followed by the official Thanksgiving Proclamation delivered by Matt Wall, Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy, highlighting the importance of gratitude and community spirit. The traditional Thanksgiving prayer was delivered by Reverend Gustav Peeter Piir, inviting guests to reflect together on the true values of the holiday.

One of the evening’s special moments was the Spotlight on Tomorrow – Celebrating Young Talents, featuring a presentation by young inventor and Estonia’s first “estronaut,” Saara Margaret Kaju, whose passion for science and remarkable achievements inspire both young people and adults alike.

The main part of the event was the charity raffle and auction led by AmCham board members Carl Pucci and Leo O’Neill in support of the Warmth of Heart Foundation. The raffle and auction raised a total of 11,500 euros for those in need. The highlight of the auction was a special prize donated by Olympic Entertainment Group – an exclusive experience package for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan, including tickets to the ice hockey semifinals and finals, as well as accommodation in a 4-star hotel.

“One of our core missions at AmCham Estonia is to carry forward the American tradition of giving and gratitude,” said the CEO of AmCham Estonia Daria Sivovol. “Thanksgiving provides the perfect moment to share this culture of philanthropy with our Estonian community. By giving back together, we strengthen the bonds between our members, our partners, and the people whose lives we aim to support.”

The Thanksgiving Charity Dinner once again showcased AmCham Estonia’s sincere desire to contribute to the well-being of people in Estonia. The warm, supportive, and grateful atmosphere demonstrated clearly that a community has the power to recognize challenges and make life better for those in need.
