LEADING AT THE INTERSECTION OF SUSTAINABILITY AND DIGITALIZATION

When: Thursday, June 8, 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Where: Roschier Offices (Kasarmikatu 21 A, Helsinki)

Digitalization  and sustainability are often  viewed as separate actions within a company  but should they be? How can leaders’ future-proof their organizations and find opportunities by adopting a ‘twin transition’ approach to digital and sustainability agendas?

Join Amcham Finland, AmCham Estonia, McKinsey and Roschier for a leader’s lunch on Thursday 8 June to  discuss  the intersection of these competing business priorities and how twin transition  could lead to  increased competitiveness and  future growth.

While being small countries on the global scale,  both Finland and Estonia have demonstrated  their  capabilities as role models - Finland  as the international leader for sustainable development and  Estonia as a dynamic reformer of digital technologies, now ranking among the most digitally advanced societies in the world.

The event will feature two distinguished keynote speakers, Marja Innanen, the Executive Director of UN Global Compact Finland, and former Deputy Director General for Finland’s National Committee for Sustainable Development at the Finnish Prime Minister’s office, as well as Ville SirviöCEO of the Nordic Institute of Interoperability Solutions (NIIS)

Following in the program, an expert panel, moderated by McKinsey, will take place.

Panelists include:

  • Megan Riley, CEO at MLR Strategies
  • Anil Joshi, Managing Director of Kyndryl
  • Miikka Konttinen, Partner at Roschier
  • Arto Pakkalin, Digital & Innovation Lead at Bayer Nordic

Places to attend this lunch are strictly limited. Don’t miss this opportunity to network and share best practices on digitalization and sustainability with other leaders from Finland and Estonia right in the center of Helsinki!
